Wow – it’s almost been a full a year since I’ve last updated my blog. It was never intended to be a high traffic site so no biggie. Considering it’s my home page on all of my computers, I’m getting tired of seeing the old post so I figured I’d update with something new.

Earlier this month, I used my income tax returns to purchase UMI 3-point Subframe Connectors, Hawk HPS brake pads, and a set of 4 HPA drilled and slotted rotors. :) Red Alert should be getting some mods this spring! :)

Welcome to my blog! This is where I’ll post articles in regards to BMC Service Desk Express, news about my Camaro projects, and pictures of car events I go to. I mainly wanted a dedicated site to post pictures, progress, and news pertaining to my beloved Camaro.

The secondary point of the site to post tid bits that I’ve done working on BMC Service Desk Express. In early 2007, my employer deployed the Service Desk suite in a really rough state. Rather than complain about all the things that were wrong, I decided to take a proactive approach and see what I could do to help fix it. Well, they didn’t originally plan for someone to be doing ongoing maintenance to the application itself and I just fell into place, took over, and started to get the application on track where it needed to be. I’ll try to remember to post a standard disclaimer on my articles – I’ve never received any formal training in the Service Desk application nor SQL Server. Everything that I do is either “poke & try” or “google it.” So, when I post SQL User Defined Functions I guarantee that someone would be able to come up with a simpler way to accomplish the same task, but my intentions are to provide a foundation that can be improved upon or tweaked to user’s individual needs.
